I have always been intrigued by etimology. The latin I studied in school must have had an impact on me because as I began to learn English I took notice to how many words derived from latin. Not only did this help to understand the meanings of words better, but it also gave rise to this interest of mine.
Now I often find myself analyzing words. I like to "break them down" by concentrating on how other words can be put together to form one word. I really enjoy dissecting words and then visualizing them with pictures like the "Crow-N" (=a crow IN a crown).

The style you used reminds me of some english paintings... and now that I think of it, wouldn't it make a great plate for an english pub? ;-DDDD
(*runs from the artist's fury...*)
Gosh....I got it right away. Crow-n ! I love it. Words have always interested me too.
Your painting reminds of something...
I used to live in a townhouse where we had to put our trash out on the porch to be picked up. I opened the door one moring to leave for work and these three HUGE crows were getting ready to tear into the trash. They started flapping around and screaming at me, and then flew into a tree right by my car where they continued to express their extreme displeasure over being interrupted. Wow, they were intimidating !!
Naaaaaaaaw....they didn't hurt me.....just gave me the stink eye and hollered really loud.
I really like them too. They're very intelligent and can actually be quite sociable.
