Well, as an art teacher,I must say your sketches prompt me to once again suggest you strive to obtain work within the children's books/illustration arena! Your work, to me, anyway, has a quality that would be ideally suited to this type of application. Your work, although initially appearing simple in construction, has a fine quality that tempts the imagination, something that is highly active in the mind of a child! I have a current student who draws similar to the way you do, and I am encouraging her to lean towards children's illustration, as I feel she will enjoy far more success in this area. Anyway, this is just an opinion on my part, regardless of what direction you take, I wish you every success with your art.
Hi, Bronco! Thanks again for writing such well-thought-out comments. I really appreciate your suggestions and I know they come from your vast experience. I am going to keep this option very open. It seems that every day something different happens in my artistic path and it's so much fun. ;-)
